I was born in Grapevine, Texas. When I was 5, my father joined the United States Air Force and from that moment on we moved around a lot before settling in Phoenix in 1996. I then attended GCC, where I received an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts. I moved on to Arizona State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing. In 2005, I married my best friend, Lindsey, who is a very talented professional photographer.
My life long obsession with art led me to seek a tattoo apprenticeship. I was lucky enough to be taken into Brando’s army of apprentices (he had 2 at the time). My good luck only took me so far, the rest I earned through hard work and determination.
Art and illustration has been a life long passion of mine. Another borderline obsession that I have is for anything mechanical. I love to build and restore motorcycles and cars. My love for tattooing and passion for all things mechanical led me to start building and tuning my own tattoo machines.
The artistic environment of Stay True Tattoo has allowed me to become the artist I am today and continually pushes me to become the best artist I can be. I am grateful to be part of the Stay True family and truly consider this shop home.
